Here at the Oakville Arts Council, we couldn't do a lot of what we do without the help of our amazing volunteers and we know this sentiment is shared across our members as well. Since it's National Volunteer week this week, we thought over the next few days we would share some thank you letters to volunteers who have helped make the arts and culture scene here in Oakville so vibrant! There are certainly a lot of amazing volunteers out there who have dedicated their time to the arts in some capacity, and the letters you will see posted here are only to a small fraction of those amazing volunteers here in Oakville. If your organization also relies on volunteers, make sure you send a little gratitude their way this week.

Without further ado, please see below what the President of the Oakville Opera Guild has to say about one of their volunteers. Stay tuned for more thank you letters later this week!

The Oakville Arts Council will be communicating opportunities to participate to our members through our newsletter. We would love to hear from more hotels, restaurants and other arts venues who want to connect with artists during this weekend.  Do you have an honorarium you can offer artists or an opportunity for artists to sell?  Let us know and we will put a call out to our artists in an upcoming newsletter.
