A Handmade Market 2024

The OAC will once again be offering local artists and artisans the opportunity to sell their work, just in time for the holiday season!

We are looking for original works from a wide variety of disciplines including but not limited to jewellery, ceramics, woodworking, paintings, drawings, pastels, cards, books, graphic novels, fibre art/wearable art, candle and soap makers, etc. Music CD's, tickets to performances and events from local artists and arts organizations are also welcome. 

There is free parking onsite. Our market will attract many attendees interested in supporting local and buying original handmade gifts for the Christmas season and marketing for the sale will begin mid October. 

Cost: $150 with a 10% discount for OAC members. Each artist will have space for a 4' or 5' table and/or grids for hanging paintings.

Artists will supervise their own tables at this one-day sale and may process their own sales.  The OAC is also prepared to process sales at no cost to the artist other than the process fee levied by Square for those who would prefer this option.  There will be no cash onsite.

Date:  Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (set up time 8-9:30 a.m., take down 3-4 p.m.)  

Location: Walton United Church at 2489 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville

You will need to complete an application to participate.  You will be contacted by the Oakville Arts Council upon approval and to the participation fee can be paid at that time.
